ENVIRO!

This is gonna be a world record breaking post!

A post with the most number of pics!

Hahah.

Aaaand, it's getting kinda late.

:-/

I have a conference tmrw, so I'll try to make this quick. :D

Here goes.

OKAY, so I went for a nature camp.

Details!

Date : Forgot
Time : Forgot
Duration : 3 days, 2 nights
Place : Kuala Selangor (the mangrovey area)
Kawan : Danial Zian dan Pragaash a/l Ponnusamy

So here's some pics of us waiting at MPSJ for the bus to pick us up!

We had to sit on the floor.

(I don't know why...)

Pragaash being sexy :D

LOL Danial. I think he was saying, 'Pass the Cheezels!'

And me, looking stupid. -.-

I had a bunch of snacks with me :D

So I ate them. Haha.

(What else do you do with snacks???)

Finally, the bus arrives........
It's that big thing there. BEHIND the people. :)

We thought the bus was like, gonna be full.

But it was totally friggin EMPTY.

Except for the driver of course. :)

We took the backseat.
And we took PHOTOS.

Lol. Very cute. We met him in the bus. He's in Std 6 next year, so ladies... erhm.

STAY AWAY.

Tak halal lagi.

I forgot his name. T.T

But then we realized the bus had to go pick up students from another place.

And at that place, we saw, ALLSPUCK!

Sooooo... A long bus ride, with phone music and talking.

Finally, we arrive! IT'S THE JUNGLE, MOTHAFA**

'Semua olang sila jangan lupak ambik beg, yaaaaa!'

TREE. :D oh yeah, and sky. -.-

As you can clearly see, I am HAPPY to be here. Smile.

Going too...
Erm.

Uh.

Oh ya, meeting-place-where-men-and-women-talk.

So. 'Hello. Register here, please. *Speech**Speech*'

AFTER that, breakfast! (Yeah we arrived there pwetty early)

Say cheese! I SAID SAY CHEESE, YOU SUN.OF.A.BCTH! (Heh, he didn't REALLY say that)

This guy turned out to be my favourite photographer!

Cause he took a picture of me while I was sleeping in the conference room. -.-

Dammit.

General outlook of the place, pretty decent. Lots of monkeys for your entertainment pleasure. :)

So, I was dorm leader and I got DORM !#.

(look at your keyboard and see the number that corresponds to those symbols.)

0.0

Scarieeeeeeeeee.

I dare not type it out!

Haha. No lah, I'm not superstitious.

But I was in Dorm !# while Dani and Prag were in Dorm !@. WTH right.

Aiya, never mind lah. Malam-malam swap! :D

My selected bed. :) I chose the pink/red one out of the greens.

Okay, unpacked and ready for the outdoors BABEH!

'Go conference room!'

-.-

Did you not hear me? I SAID OUTDOORS!

'Conference.'

-.-

Fine.

Sat through a talk on Malaysian Wildlife.

It turned out to be very decent. :D

'If you kill the trees, I slaaaap you!'

(Indian slang, think Puan Doris.)

'Eh, macha, at the back! Listening or not?'

New friend, AFIE! Ketua Pengawas in SMKSJ. Yeah.

Kacak, bodoh.

'You kata Afie kacak, tak kata aku kacak lah, macam tu Choong Hoh?'

Tak lah, Dani pun kacak! HEH.....HEH...

'No, don't go to the light!'

'I can't help it, it's so beautiful!'

ZAP!

I record you!

Dinner at a seafood restaurant by Selat Melaka. :D Good food here.

Instructor says, 'Is everyone here? Sure? Sure? Wokay, lets iiit!'

PRAY FIRST B4 EATING. left : Bryan, right: Afie

He was pointing the camera at the food, waiting for the fish to smile. -.- Sigh, cameraman, cameraman.

I don't think this thing is gonna smile anytime soon.

Bryan's mom! Counselor at SMKSJ. Best and friendliest teacher there. Also a caring mom. :)

'Sir, I request for fish.' (British)

'Hello?'

'Darn it.' *Walks away*

Urgh. Full.

Group pic! (Gosh, I'm a friggin giant!)

In the bus on the way to the firefly place, Prag got bored.

He smiles. ALOT. Trust me. The only time he doesn't smile is when he chews. :D

'Weih, firefly, weih!'

Okay, then we took a sampan out on the river.

The fireflies said, 'We're mating, dudes, like, buzz off.' (chipmunk)

I say, 'WTF A TALKING FIREFLY!'

The next day.

'Can you see my pimples in this picture?'

'DELETE!'

Ahhh, the good nasi lemak. (Breakfast.)

'ALRIGHT GUYS! Put on your Wellington boots, we're goin-a walkin'!'

Jungle path. Jungle-trekking. (Duh) :D

 'HEEEEEE!'

'Adui! Slip'

'FU**IN MOSQUITOES! STOP BITING MEHHHHHHHHH!' This bridge is a mosquito BREEDING ground.

'Hello, this is a plant. Has many of medicinal values. DON'T PLUCK or I saman you!'

'Darn mosquito on my shoulder!'

Danial says, 'Where got apple? No apple here.' Haha.

FAIL 1

FAIL 2

FAIL 3

'If you fail ONE more time, I'm gonna kick your ass SO HARD that the doctor is gonna have to AMPUTATE, GOT IT?!'

Walking along the mangrove trees, the mangrove trees, the mangrove trees. Walking along the mangrove trees, all day long!

The bridge has yet to reach the critical angle. Thus it will not reflect back on itself. -.-

:D

BACK TO THE DORM! Wash up... Shower. Change. Aaaaaaand.........!

Sleep.

A while.

Oh yeah, we planted mangrove seedlings in a deforestated area.

IT WAS MUDDY and that's an understatement.

My whole damn foot got stuck underneath the mud on numerous occasions.

It was like QUICKSAND!

But it was worth it.

Got down and dirtay!

:D

'Hello monyet hutan!'

*GRIN*

:D

'AAH! MONYET HUTAN!'

So, went for another talk, then...

Off to the Fisherman's Village in Sungai Buloh.

Well, not IN Sungai Buloh!

BY Sungai Buloh.

*Sniff*
Smells like fish.

'Ya think?'

'Ala tu pui padeh ia MACARENA! Et tu quail tu palval air io cosabuena!

SEE! MY favourite photographer! :D

The taikor who owns EVERYTHING there. I think.

The Village view.

Sooo, we went on a speedboat, and guess what we got to do???

CATCH KERANG!

Omg RIGHT?

:D

It was a great experience catching kerang.

I'm not being sarcastic.

Then went back, had talks.

Nice talks.

Shower.

Dinner.

Sleep.

TURD,3rd DAY!

Breakfast.

Doa. (Dani and Afie)

Then, AMAZING RACE!

In the jungle!

You know, clues and stuff.

VERY FUN.

And my team completed the course FIRST! :D

YAY for running!

'STOP LOOKING AT ME FRIGGIN MOSQUITO!'

*extremely exhausted*

Then we performed our sajak which our team practiced the night before.

Did pretty well.

AND THEN, our team got 2nd overall!

YAY!

Out of 4 teams. -.-

We got a BIG hamper!

Dani's team got first.

Prag's third.

I'm in blue. Far right. :D Damn sexy in this pic. HEH.

Still on the right. :D

BTW, my team's name was Grey Heron!

(Wait, has it heron?)

'THANK YOU, THANK YOU! *tears*'

Our team! :)  Far LEFT this time. -.-

Holidays

So do you feel it?

Do ya?

It's the 3rd of December 2009.

Do you feel your skin getting crinkly-ER?

Your eyebags getting bigger?

DUM DUM DUM DUMMMMMM...

My birthday!

Finally, I'm 16. :D

Aaaand...

It's a few more weeks to 2010.

Haha.

Hopefully you guys can't relate to any of the stuff I mentioned in the 4th and 5th lines!

Cuz 2009 was great and so will 2010!, be great... (Omg, what kind of English)

@.@

Check this out

01/01/10

That's the first day of next year!

I can't believe we get to celebrate the Sultan's birthday again!
Can you believe it???

Wouldn't it be weird to write the year as --/--/10
in your exercise books next year???

We are gonna have to get used to it again.

Wait, didn't I just get used to writing 09 in the top right corner of the exercise book pages???

Okay, enough drama.

Let's get down to business.

I watched New Moon recently.

With Danial Zian and Ian.

Okay, funny story.

You see, Ian isn't a Twilight kind of gay guy.

I was like, 'Hey, Ian, wanna go watch New Moon???'

And he gave me the face.

And said, 'Dude, that's gay.'
(OR something along those lines, you get it right?)

OK.

Then I said, 'NO, man. It's the expression of love that counts!'

...

Okay, now that I type it out, it DOES sound slightly gay-ish.

-.-

But then, to convince him to watch New Moon, I lent him the Twilight movie.

(It's not pirated, Officer!)

He said it was boring.

But, alas, he still went to watch New Moon.

THEN, Danial, Ian and I went to Summit.

And we had McDonald's.

Okay, I left my bicycle keys on the table when I went to order my food.

And when I came back, it was missing!

I knew who it was but he wouldn't crack!

DANIAL.

or IAN.

Must be one of them lah, who else???

WHO ELSE???

'Holy shit, guys, is this a prank or did my keys really get stolen?!?!?'

...

(Giggle giggle --- Danial and Ian)

...

'DAMMIT! COME ON!'

...

(Blur face--- Danial and Ian)

T.T

Yeah, I panicked a little.

But I was pretty sure one of 'em had it.

Sooooo....

New Moon review time!

Oooooo...

Rating : 7/10

Review : Okay, I have to give this show 2 thumbs up for replicating the plot in the book almost exactly.

That's a real high point for the movie, since I love that they are able to take the book and put it in video. :)

Job well done.

If you're looking for excessive action scenes, this isn't the movie for you.

Not much fighting although there were a few rumbles here and there.

If you're looking for arousal, then yeah, watch it.

Although, I mean, I-i-i-i wasn't aroused!
I hate men with abs!
Heh, Heh. Hehh.

'It's not awesome but better than Twilight.' (recently quoted by Brenda Ong) :D (I didn't say anything I shouldn't!)

Okay, that's it for now!

Goodnight :)

In case you're wondering, my keys were with Ian AND Danial. Long story :/

Action

I just learned a new term for the guitar.

ACTION

If you find your guitar is hard to fret and barre, then the action on your guitar is probably too high.

(like mine)

Action refers to the distance of the strings above the fingerboard.

A guitar's action is too high for you if you find it excessively difficult to play clean notes when barre'-ing.

However, a guitar with high action can be played louder and more violently because the string which is vibrating is high above the fingerboard.

Thus, the string can vibrate alot without touching the fret and making a buzzing sound.

A guitar with low action is easier to fret and barre' but will make a buzzing sound when played aggressively.

So choose a guitar with a good balance of both.

But remember, comfort always comes first.

If you're not comfortable playing your guitar, you probably won't like it very much.

Okay,

So TOMORROW (Tuesday, 1 December) is report card day.

You may or may not be required to bring your parents depending on your results. That depends entirely on you.

HAHAHA.

Get it?

No?

Never mind.

But seriously, go collect your report cards tomorrow.

:)

I'll be in school helping out, so visit me, ok? :D

Just a short post.

Okay, have a great evening :)

(Why is everyone in Australia?)

Drifting

My blog title is inspired by Andy McKee.

His song title is 'Drifting'.

And he has done a cover of it on YouTube.

I personally feel that this song is a really beautiful masterpiece.

So click here to be INSPIRED!

the man himself
Andy McKee

Listening to that song just makes me feel like quitting guitar. xD

Cuz' I totally suck compared to that.

And on that same note, I might be getting an Admira guitar.

CLASSICAL please. :)

Ain't that a beauty???

Oh well, it's probably gonna cost 1.5K+ for a good classical that'll last.

BUT, it's a good investment.

Anyway, here's something I would like to blog about.

I'm pretty sure you guys have seen many of THESE types of guitars before.

These are called Stratocaster electric guitars.

This one is a Fender make.

Most people use these types of guitars because of one or more of the following reasons:

1) They're AWESOME looking!
2) *bangs head on wall*
3) Rock on!!!
4) Who the hell uses a tele?

Well, traditionally, most people go for the stratocaster over it's cousin, the Telecaster.

Here's a picture of a Fender Tele.

Tele.

Notice the aesthetic differences?

NO?

Look closely and you will see. :D

Telecasters have a more springy, stringy tune.

I personally feel that the telecaster looks like it was sent from the heavens. x)

But many would disagree with me.

Especially since the some Tele designs are not as pleasing to the eye.

Another Fender telecaster.

I personally prefer the previous Tele over this design.

So, after my classical, I am aiming for a Tele.

:D

Alright, now it's time to move on to a little section I'd like to call,

Choong Hou's review of outdated movies.

*DRUM ROLL!!!*

Well, I've only seen a few movies recently.

Here is one.

6/10

An overall entertaining movie. :D

If you're feeling brain-dead.

Haha. Kidding. But seriously, it's funny. Watch it.

Next.

8/10

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

(yeah the trailer wasn't convincing, but the movie was one helluva movie.)

the chinese kid is funny.

and the old man is funny.

Great storyline.

Great animation.

Great movie. :)

I rated it 7 cuz the movie made me piss my pants.

Yeah, and you'll never guess that freak girl's secret.

It's a pretty darn good movie if you're looking for a scare.

But I'm probably just a wuss and the movie's not scary at all.

So, until next time, readers!

I WANT CLASSICAL GUITAR!

A bloody traumatic experience. Quite literally.

Did I mention that dissecting frogs is fun?

GIGANTIC frogs that aren't dead.

They're knocked out with chloroform.

And the scariest part is...
they could get up and hop about while being dissected!

WTF.

Luckily for my friends and I, that didn't happen.

*phew*

I heard a story that last time, a bunch of students were dissecting a frog, and it started jumping about, and its guts were falling all over the place.

AWESOME!

(I wonder who cleaned that up)

So, I did most of the cutting.

While Sek and Leong held the poor thing in place.

With forceps and plastic gloves of course.

So...
the worst part was the starting,
during the 'EEEEW!' and the 'HOLY *UTCKS!' and the 'OH MY GOD, EEEW!' phases.

Yeah, I'm squeamish.

I was one of the people going through those phases.

BUT.

I was a brave boy after that! HAHAHAHAHA.

Cutting the frog like I was cutting chicken for a very particular and picky king.

You know the initial part when you have to cut open the belly skin?

Then, cut open the SECOND belly skin?

And then look at liver and intestines?

So totally AWTHSUM!

After removing the poor thing's innards,
we then proceeded to mutilate its eyeballs!

YAY for science!

I (obviously) brought the eye back to class to scare chicks.

BUT, they were like, 'EEEW! Eh, damn cool!'

WTF,

Epic failure.

Oh well.

See what you ponteng-ers missed!

You missed frog-cutting day!

Okay.
Erm.

Class parteh! It was awesome!

Here's one measly photo. (down there. not up =.=)

Pssssssttt....
Nazneen has a nice house.

=D

And Danial makes good banana cake.

:)

And I am zee bezz chicken-grill-cook ever!

Just ask my satisfied customers. xD

Okay. And then...

Interact installation!

It was held in a classroom.

Trust me, whoever suggested the classroom is a genius.

I'm not exaggerating.

It felt more...
PERSONAL.

Know what I mean?

Everything was cozier.
(Yes, it was raining too)

So... that's about it.

OKAY! BYE BYE!

oh yeah, forgot.

Goodnight.

:)

Thursday, November 5, 2009

A little too late to post this, but...

EXAMS ARE OVER!

yay.

So I wonder what everyone's going to be up to.

Going out with friends...
Watching TV...
SLEEPING...
DoTa... for the minority :)
Facebook-ing...
Blogging...
Camps...
like Prefects' Camp for instance.

Ooooo
I forgot.
HOLIDAY-ing.

Aren't there so many things to do during the holidays? (I consider *after exams* the start of the holiday =) )
note the exaggeration.

School is so full of life now.

Everyone is class-jumping.

Well, at least the ones who are not studying for Form 5 =.=

BTW,
I don't know if this message will get through to you, but...

Friendships are really special.
And if you've known someone for a long time, plus you guys are tight,
don't blow it just because of a small misunderstanding or unhappiness.

You two have been close since I've KNOWN you guys.

So, if you think you know who you are,
try to mend things up with her alright?

It sucks to see you two like this.

So.... FIX IT.

Alright.
It's late (sorta...).
Better be going off to bed, school tomorrow, not to mention the English oral test is on for those who have not completed it yet.

(My topic's a surprise)
:)

Goodnight, readers.

Sweet dreams.

(Don't think about the dust mites crawling up your ears when you sleep)

'Til next time.

Celine Dion - Because You Loved Me

For all those times you stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life
For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you
I'll be forever thankful baby
You're the one who held me up
Never let me fall
You're the one who saw me through
Through it all

You were my strength when I was weak
You were my voice when I couldn't speak
You were my eyes when I couldn't see
You saw the best there was in me
Lifted me up when I couldn't reach
You give me faith cuz you believed
I'm everything I am
Because you loved me
